About the project

The RESTRIM project is a European Commission funded project that examines the role of networks in promoting economic competitiveness and positive change in remote rural areas. The project is funded under the Framework Five Quality of Life and Management of Living Resources program. The project has study areas in six countries: Scotland, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Italy. The results will be used to inform policy on rural development and funding programmes in the EU.
